Heidi Murkoff’s groundbreaking book, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, launched a lifelong pursuit of helping mothers and soon-to-be parents navigate pregnancy. Heidi and her husband, Erik, would go on to found the What to Expect Project, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “empower, educate, support and nurture moms around the world.”
