Senior Lunch

Sal’s Bistro at the Redwood Coast Senior Center serves

lunch 11: 30a.m. to 12:30p.m., Monday through Friday, 490N. Harold St., Fort Bragg, next to Cotton Auditorium. Open to all: $8. Seniors pay by donation; no senior will be denied a meal if they do not donate. Meals also served Monday and Wednesday at Preston Hall, next to Mendocino Presbyteri­an Church. Prior day reservatio­ns are required for lunch in Mendocino, call 707-964-0443. Meals include vegetables, fruit, two glasses of milk (or buttermilk on request). Subject to change without notice. FBUSD MENUS

Breakfast is served in the classrooms at Redwood Elementary, free to all elementary students. Lunch is $2.50 at Redwood Elementary and Dana Gray. At the high school and middle school, breakfast is $2and lunch is $3. Pre-pay $100 or more and receive free bonus meals. Call 707-9613521for details. Meals are prepared daily from fresh ingredient­s and include a healthy entree, fruit, vegetables and milk or 100percent fruit juice. Menu is subject to change. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals may receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily. Reduced-price qualified students may eat for free during the 2017-18school year. Parents must reapply for their child each year. Supper is free for all students.

Red Rhino employee approached subject about trespassin­g. Subject ran to Taco Bell. Informatio­n taken since subject left before officer arrived.

Trespass: Jan. 13, 8:05p.m., 900block of John Cimolino Way. Caller reports that a resident at that location arrived with three other subjects and no one should be there. Informatio­n passed on to patrol.

Parking Complaint: Jan. 14, 9:05 a.m., 500block of East Cypress Street. Brown motor home reported as abandoned at that location. Vehicle blue tagged.

Suspicious Circumstan­ces: Jan. 14, 9:28a.m., 100block of Jewett Street. Caller reported black GMC Envoy with no license plates slow rolling in the neighborho­od. Vehicle now headed down Oak Street. Would like it stopped. Area checked but vehicle had gone.

Trespass: Jan. 14, 2:07p.m., West Cypress Street and Noyo Point Road. Ongoing issue with vehicle driving on trail and trespassin­g at that location. Vehicle had left when officer arrived.

700 block of South Main Street. Caller reported two transients sleeping in the doorway at that location. Joni Dearing, 58, of Fort Bragg, cited for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parapherna­lia and violation of probation. Theft: Jan. 16, 8:45 p.m., 300 block of Walnut Street. Alleged theft of a phone and a purse from that location. Marnay Goodlow, 30, of Fort Bragg, charged with alleged domestic violence. Booked at county jail. Bond set at $25,000. Subject released later that day. Transient: Jan. 17, 9:38 a.m., 300 block of South Franklin Street. Caller reported two transients on east side of street, male wearing tye-dye shirt, black pants and red jacket. Another male in unknown clothing. Subjects contacted and advised of trespassin­g.

Transient: Jan. 17, 10:57 a.m., 800 block of Stewart Street. Caller reported transient encampment on back side of building. Subjects had left before officer arrived. Night patrol will check and try to contact campers.

Traffic Accident: Jan. 17, 11:01 a.m., 900 block of North Franklin Street. Caller witnessed a small blue pickup hit a person in the parking lot at that location. Truck now southbound on Franklin

Street. Unable to locate victim or vehicle.

Will continue to look out for subject. Agency Assist: Jan. 20, 6:35 a.m., 700 block of River Drive. Hospital requested assistance with a hold patient who returned but refuses to come into ER waiting room. Assistance provided.

Transient: Jan. 20, 11:01 a.m., 300 block of North Corry Street. Caller reported that a transient at that location is trespassin­g and has a tent and a dog. Subject warned and advised to leave the area. Transient: Jan. 20, 12:12 p.m., 400 block of East Laurel Street. Caller reported a subject kicking his dog and two other dogs running offleash. Same subject as counseled earlier. Animal license problems and two dogs transporte­d.

Fight: Jan. 20, 1:04 p.m., 200 block of North Whipple Street. Caller reported that a fight just occurred at that location. Report taken on battery. Both parties contacted.

Jan. 8: Cassidy Lynne Schmelter, 24, of Tustin, California, arrested in Fort Bragg at 12:12 a.m., on charges of alleged resisting an officer, DUI alcohol and revocation of probation. Bond set at $25,000. Subject released that afternoon.

Jan. 12: Brayan Baltazar Buenrostro Corona, 21, of Fort Bragg, arrested in Mendocino at 9:28 p.m., on charges of alleged attempt to prevent, by threat or force, a witness/victim from reporting, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to do great bodily harm and participat­ing in a criminal street gang. Bond set at $50,000. Subject released the following day.

Jan. 13: Drinda Danine Last, 64, of Fort Bragg, arrested in Ukiah at 6:07 p.m., on charges of alleged drunkennes­s in public. Bond informatio­n not available. Subject released the following day.

Jan. 13: Mauricio Delgado Garcia, 23, of Fort Bragg, arrested in Ukiah at 7:03 p.m., on charges of alleged threats against a witness or victim, one of which was to assist in prosecutio­n, conspiracy to prevent a witness/victim from reporting, two counts of gang activity and two counts of assault with a firearm. Bond set at $20,000. Subject released that afternoon.

Jan. 17: Marnay Dojuan Goodlow, 31, of Fort Bragg, arrested at 12:01 a.m., on charges of alleged bodily harm to a cohabitant. Bond set at $25,000. Subject released later that day.
