Covid Vaccines, Boosters, and Testing

Mendocino Coast Clinics offers drive-through vaccine clinics every Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the white tent at 205 South Street in Fort

Bragg for anyone aged 12 and up. No appointmen­t is needed. First dose, second dose, and boosters are all available. Parental consent is required for anyone under 18 to receive a vaccine.

COVID vaccines are available by appointmen­t for children ages 5 to 11. Call (707) 964-1251 to schedule your child’s vaccine.

COVID testing for people who do not have symptoms is available at the white tent at 205 South Street from 9:00 am to

1:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. No appointmen­t is needed.

These tests are shipped to a central lab for processing, and results are usually available from 72 to 96 hours after the tests are received at the lab.

The Adventist Health team has Moderna and the J&J vaccines all available through the Primary Care team located at 721 River Dr., Suite A in Fort Bragg. To make an appointmen­t, call the Adventist Health offices at 707-961-4631 and press option 3 to set a time and date available to receive yours.

Stand with Ukraine Benefit

Stand With Ukraine, is

a community benefit for aid to Ukraine sponsored by the Mendocino Rotary Foundation, Rotary Club of Mendocino, and Mendocino Café. Sunday, May 1 from 2 PM — 6 PM at Mendocino Rotary Park located at Lansing and Main

League of Women Voters Candidate Forums

The League of Women Voters of Mendocino

County will present two candidate forums next week, on Wednesday, May 4, and Friday, May 6. Each forum will be moderated by a League member and will take place via Zoom, from 6-7:30 pm. Find the link for both on the League website: my.lwv.org/california/mendocino-county.

On Wednesday, May 4, candidates for Fifth District Supervisor will appear to present their platforms and answer questions from the audience. Both Ted Williams, incumbent, and John Redding, challenger, have agreed to participat­e. On Friday, May 6, candidates for County School Superinten­dent will participat­e; both Michelle Hutchins, incumbent, and Nicole Glentzer, challenger, will present their ideas and take questions. Garden Club Pop-up Boutique

Join Fort Bragg Garden Club for its Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 14 from 10 — 2 at the Amerigas parking lot at 300 South Main Street. There will also be a Pop-Up Boutique with some choice items for your home. All proceeds will benefit the Garden Club’s scholarshi­p fund and other community projects.
