Mixer to support coastal Mendocino College students

On Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 5:00 — 7:00 pm, the Mendocino College Coast Center campus is hosting a Mendocino Coast Chamber Mixer. Located at 1211 Del Mar Drive in Fort Bragg, the Coast Center serves students looking to continue their education and improve their professional skills by completing a certificate or pursuing an Associate’s Degree. The Coast Center also provides many non-credit classes for adults looking to expand their learning.

This event is sponsored by the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of Mendocino

College Coast Center, a volunteer group of dedicated, local community members who believe in assisting the education and service programs benefitting students on the Coast. You can learn more about joining the Coast Center Friends by contacting Barbara Rice at barbrice@mcn.org

The funds raised at this fun event will directly support Mendocino College students. Refreshments will be provided, and beer and wine will be available. There will be a silent auction, and some of the items you can bid on to support local students include tickets to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, various works of art, and local dining. If you are interested in learning more about the Coast Center and its class offerings, you should come. If you are a tradesperson who might be interested in teaching a Career Technical Education Class at the Coast Center, you should come. If you want to help local students on their journey to a better career because you care about your community, you should definitely come. All are welcome!
