There will be a public party on the evening of Friday, February 3rd from 5 to 8 PM for the Krenov School’s class of 2023 Mid Winter Exhibition at TC Space. Our class has once again produced an exceptional body of work. Art Explorers
We are ready to welcome a new year — this First Friday we are featuring artwork about Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit. The rabbit represents peace and longevity, and good luck for all! Come find some unique gifts for your loved ones for Valentine’s Day— maybe even a framed piece of artwork? Join Art Explorers on February 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m. at 333 N. Northcoast Artist Gallery
Northcoast Artists Gallery, February 2023 “Love,” featuring works by the members of Northcoast Artists Gallery February 1-27, 2023. The word love has different meanings for everyone. This month, the gallery members have created special artworks which reflect their feelings and visions about what love means to them. Edgewater Gallery
In February, Edgewater Gallery will host abstract artist Gurdon “Murph” Miller Gurdon Miller, who will open his show on First Friday, February 3, at Edgewater Gallery from 5-8. “I have drawn and painted for as long as I can remember. I majored in art at UC Berkeley in the 1960s.
I make acrylic paintings from small enough for an apartment, to impractically large. I also paint watercolors and make large-format silver-gelatin photographs. My paintings are abstract but are related to landscapes or objects that occur in nature. My studio is in Fort Bragg.” Edgewater Gallery is located at 356 North Main Street in Fort Bragg. Pacific Textile Arts
A Pacific Textile Arts Gallery show and sale, focusing on baskets and woven yardage collected by member, Anne Fleuret, during her years of working and living in Africa.
