Pets of the week: Riley and Nic Nic

-

Dog: Meet Riley, the adventurous and affectionate 64-pound mix! At just one year old, Riley eagerly searches for her forever home. This energetic pup is the perfect hiking buddy, always ready for a thrilling outdoor adventure! But it's not just hiking that Riley craves; she also yearns for loads of love and attention. She is a genuine people person (or should we say, people pup!), and her heart overflows with affection. If you're an active and loving individual who can offer Riley the exciting escapades she craves and shower her with the attention she deserves, she could be the perfect match for you! Let's find Riley her forever home, filled with endless hiking trails and abundant affection. Please spread the word, and let's bring happiness to this incredible pup's life!

Cat:Nic Nic is among our younger residents, with lots of energy to burn and an enthusiastic approach to toys. While he can be slightly shy with new people, he warms up quickly and enjoys attention. (Be warned that he gets distracted easily and isn't the type to curl up in a lap just yet happily.) Nic Nic's foster tells us he didn't get along with their cat, and his attitude with other cats in the shelter can be hit and miss. If you have another cat at home, plan on taking it slow to give both of them time to get used to each other. Our staff can help you with tips and tricks if you're nervous about integrating a new cat into your home!
