Road­ster Shop now of­fers the RS4R, a full IFS 4x4 chas­sis with a tri­an­gu­lated trail­ing-arm rear sus­pen­sion for the ’66-’77 Ford Bronco. The chas­sis fea­tures 12 inches of travel up front and 13 inches in the rear. Sus­pen­sion move­ment is con­trolled via a 2.5-inch twin-tube by­pass shock, a 2.5inch coilover with dual-rate coil springs, and a hy­draulic bump­stop on each corner. The chas­sis is con­fig­ured to ac­cept a Ford Coy­ote en­gine and 6R80 trans­mis­sion or a GM LS en­gine with a 4L80 trans­mis­sion along with an Ad­vance Adapters At­las two-speed trans­fer case. Each RS4R chas­sis fea­tures a 56-inch track width, GM 6-on-5.5 sealed hub as­sem­blies, and CNC laser-cut and con­toured box tube main rails with en­gine mounts. It uti­lizes the stock body, bumper, and core sup­port mounts. The axles are High 9 PRO Iron with lim­ited-slip dif­fer­en­tials front and rear.
