For the fifth con­sec­u­tive year, rap­per J Tyler keeps the ti­tle of best mu­si­cian. Tyler first had plans to be an ac­tor but switched to mu­sic af­ter friends doubted his abil­i­ties to make an im­pact in the rap game. Tyler is known for his fast-paced flow. His de­but EP, “Pre­lude,” can be down streamed on iTunes, Spo­tify, and other dig­i­tal mar­kets. Run­ners-up are Robert Ray and Matt Brooker.

The Atlanta top-40 ra­dio sta­tion is beloved by At­lantans, and pos­si­bly most known for “The Bert Show,” whose host, Bert Weiss, can be seen at LGBTQ-friendly events in Atlanta. Q100 is owned and op­er­ated by Cu­mu­lus Me­dia. Run­ners-up are WABE 90.1 and 88.5.
