TENT TROUBLE!

Every year, my family goes on a big camping trip. Last summer, our campsite was right next to a group of kids who were my age, so I introduced myself as soon as we got there! We got along right away, so we decided we’d go check out the river together later. Then, my dad told me I could try pitching our tent all by myself. I knew I could do it because I’d watch him do it for years! And before I knew it, I had the whole tent put together. I stepped inside to put on the finishing touches, and that’s when the entire tent collapsed right on me! Everyone burst out laughing. I wanted to hide in a tree! — Gina, CA
