Directions:

Cut a piece of tape as tall as the yellow part of your pencil. Place the tape sticky-side up, long ways onto your table, and put your pencil down on top of it. Wrap the pencil in the tape so that all of the yellow is covered. Make cool patterns by adding horizontal stripes of different-colored tape!
