SNACK SPLAT!

Over the summer, my mom and I found this cool, old school lunch box that had smiley faces all over it at Goodwill, and I couldn’t wait to take it to school. On my first day back, my mom dropped me off in front of the school with my lunch box in hand. Little did I know, the latches that kept it closed were a little loose. As I hopped out of the car, my lunch box flew open and everything inside flew out onto the sidewalk — including a yogurt that splattered everywhere! The other kids nearby helped me pick everything up, but I was still so embarrassed. So much for heading back to school in style! — Morgan, TX
