“WHY Earth Day IS IMPORTANT TO ME!”

For Ella Anderson, it’s actually Earth Day — and the Nickelodeon actress hopes it’ll become one of yours, too! “I’ve loved Earth Day ever since I learned about it when I was really little,” she tells GW. So what is Earth Day exactly? “It’s a day when you celebrate the planet and try to do things that help the environment and make it better,” Ella explains. “It’s really important to me because I care so much about the Earth and I want to help preserve it. I like that the holiday isn’t about giving gifts to each other, but it’s about making a difference!”
