Pet patrol

Dear Girls’ World, A classmate takes our class pet out of his cage when she’s not supposed to. Should I tell on her? — Scared to tattle

-

You have every right to be concerned! You don’t want anything bad to happen to the animal and that’s understandable. We recommend talking directly to your classmate first. Tell her nicely that you’re just a little worried for the class pet’s safety when she takes him out of the cage. If she shrugs off your concerns, tell your teacher in private after class. You can tell her that you don’t want to cause trouble and ask her to leave your name out of any conversation she has with your classmate. We know it’ll work out!
