Mackenzie!” her mother called from downstairs. “You better hurry up before you miss Mariah’s party!” Mackenzie let out a chuckle as she opened up the door to her closet. “Mom, it’s a sleepover. The party lasts all night!” She reached into her closet and grabbed her duffle bag to pack up for her best friend’s slumber party. After stuffing her PJS and slippers inside, Mackenzie set the bag on her bed and took a step back to beam at the tote with pride. The bag wasn’t just any ordinary duffle — it was a duffle bag designed and signed by Mackenzie’s favorite singer, Gigi Songs, for an exclusive collection. Only 1,000 bags in the collection were autographed, and Mackenzie won one through a magazine contest. It was her prized possession! Mackenzie was lost in thought, admiring her bag, when her mother called out again. “Kenzie!” “Coming, Mom!” Mackenzie replied, rushing downstairs. Luckily, Mackenzie lived just a few neighborhoods away from Mariah, so after a quick fiveminute car ride, she was walking through the front door of her BFF’S house. “Mackenzie, hi!” Mariah’s mother greeted her in the entryway. “So happy to see you, dear. The girls are in the living room. I think they’re in the middle of an intense round of Twister.” “Oh, I need to see this!” Mackenzie giggled. “They’re lucky I was running a little late. I’m the Twister queen!’” She led herself to Mariah’s living room, where she

found her best friend and their pals, Ally and Anka, trying to keep their balance in impossible poses. “Hey, Mackenzie!” Ally called out from under Anka’s arm. Ally attempted to adjust her body into a winning stance when Mackenzie’s bag caught her eye. “Wait a minute, is that the Gigi Songs bag?!” Ally cried out. “There are only a few of those out there in the entire world!” She jumped up to get a better look at Mackenzie’s duffle bag, sending the rest of the girls into a tumble. “Oww!” Anka groaned, rubbing her head. She glanced up at Mackenzie, and the sight of the bag made her jaw drop. “Whoa, that really is the Gigi Songs bag!” The girls hurried up to Mackenzie, oohing and ahhing over the exclusive merch. “I can’t believe you actually won this bag!” Mariah exclaimed. “I’m beyond jealous.” “It’s so cool,” Anka nodded. Mackenzie let out a big smile. “Thanks, you guys!” she grinned. “You should’ve seen my face when the package finally arrived at my house. I was jumping around like crazy!” Not wanting to brag too much, Mackenzie decided to change the subject. “Hey, how about another round Twister?” she suggested. “You three know that Twister is my game!” “You’re on!” Mariah playfully challenged her. “You should go put your bag in my room with Ally and Anka’s bags and then come back down here!” “Sounds like a plan,” Mackenzie nodded. She went up to Mariah’s room, dumped her pajamas and sleeping
