JELLYFISH

Keep an eye out for jellyfish whenever you’re splashing around in the ocean! These stinging cnidarians are hard to spot because they’re often transparent (see-through) or translucent (semitransparent). Their clear, jelly-like outer layer has helped the species survive for 650 million years. In fact, jellyfish have existed longer than dinosaurs and sharks!
