Chore bore

Dear Girls’ World, My parents make me and my brother do chores. I have to fold all the laundry, while he just takes out the trash, which takes way less time. Help me! — Always folding

We think this is something you should talk to your parents about. Explain that you’re not trying to get out of doing chores, but you want to rotate responsibilities with your brother. (Tip: Try not to complain about your brother during the talk.) You can also volunteer to make a family chore chart, like the one seen above, to make it easier to keep track of who needs to do what each week.
