Chimpanzees

Humans may top the list of most intelligent mammals, but chimps come pretty close: They share 98.8% of the same genetic DNA as humans, after all! Chimpanzees have the ability to learn and perform tasks that require a great amount of thinking skills and creativity. They can use sign language to communicate with humans, and they also have a better memory than any other animal. Like orangutans, they have an advanced knowledge of tools — they can build complex structures using just the items they have around them.
