MAKE BUBBLE SOLUTION WITH THREE INGREDIENTS!

Don’t have bubbles at home? They’re easy to make! In a big cup or bowl, just stir together 1½ cups of water, ½ cup of dish soap and 2 teaspoons of sugar, and you’re good to go.

FORM EASY BUBBLE WANDS!

Bend pipe cleaners into the shape of bubble wands for a quick and simple way to make bubbles.

MAKE GIANT BUBBLES!

To make big bubbles, you need a big bubble wand! Making one is easy, all you need is two straws and yarn. Measure out a piece of yarn that is six times longer than one straw. Then, thread the yarn through both straws and tie the ends together. Use the straws as two handles to dunk your giant wand into the bubble mix, then slowly pull it up to make your big bubble.

CREATE A BUBBLE SNAKE!

To create a bubble snake, ask an adult to cut the bottom off of a plastic water bottle. Cover the new opening with a sock, then use tape or a rubber band to hold the sock in place, leaving the part where you’d drink from uncovered. Dunk the sock part into your bubble solution for around five seconds to let it soak up the soap. Finally, blow into the mouth of the water bottle and watch your snake take shape!

HAVE A BUBBLE RACE!

For this race, every player needs a bubble wand. Decide on a start and finish line and make everyone line up at the start with their wand. On go, everyone blows a bubble, then catches it with their wand. The name of the game is to carry your bubble to the finish line without it popping. If it pops, run back to the start and blow a new bubble. The first unpopped bubble to the finish line wins!

PAINT A BUBBLE PICTURE!

You’ll need washable paint and a large piece of white paper for this. Mix the paint into your bubble solution, use your bubble wand to pick some up and then blow the paint onto white paper to create your artwork!

TRY SCENTED BUBBLES!

To give your bubbles a delicious smell, add powdered drink mix, like Kool-aid or powdered Jell-o mix to the bubble solution! Just remember these bubbles are to blow, not to eat.

STEP INSIDE A BUBBLE!

If you have a kiddie pool and a hula hoop, you can do this one! Ask an adult to fill a kiddie pool with bubble solution, then step inside. Have people outside of the pool take a hula hoop, place it in the bubble mix around you, then slowly pull it up, forming a bubble around your body.
