BOC Avi­a­tion de­liv­ers 3rd Air­bus A321NEO

BOC Avi­a­tion Limited, a lead­ing global air­craft oper­at­ing leas­ing com­pany head­quar­tered in Sin­ga­pore, an­nounced on Tues­day that it de­liv­ered the third of five new Air­bus A321NEO air­crafts to Chi­nese car­rier Sichuan Air­lines.

BOC Avi­a­tion said that all the five air­crafts are from its ex­ist­ing or­der book. The first two were de­liv­ered in the past two months, and the re­main­ing will be de­liv­ered by the end of 2019.

“The de­liv­er­ies to Sichuan Air­lines mark a num­ber of mile­stones for BOC Avi­a­tion,” said the com­pany’s Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor and Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Robert Martin.

“They are the first for our new cus­tomer Sichuan Air­lines and they are our first A321NEO air­crafts to be de­liv­ered from our or­der book,” Martin noted.

Martin said BOC Avi­a­tion is de­lighted to sup­port the growth of one of China’s lead­ing re­gional air­lines with air­crafts that are among the world’s most cost-ef­fec­tive and tech­no­log­i­cally ad­vanced.

BOC Avi­a­tion, a mem­ber of Bank of China Group, has a fleet of 499 air­crafts owned, man­aged and on or­der. Its owned and man­aged fleet was leased to 89 air­lines world­wide in 34 coun­tries and re­gions as of Septem­ber 30. Xinhua
