TIM MCGRAW RELAPSE FEARS

Does cowboy’s baffling message hint at problems with wife Faith?

-

COUNTRY superstar Tim McGraw is battling to save his 22-year marriage with beloved wife Faith Hill by staying sober, friends say.

But after on-the-wagon boozer Tim deleted all his social media entries late last month and cryptically posted, “I need Jesus or I need whiskey,” pals feared the Live Like You Were Dying singer may have relapsed after a decade of sobriety!

On the same day as Tim’s post, Faith was a no-show at a University of Miami voter registration drive — even though she was scheduled to co-host with former First Lady Michelle Obama!

The two events created a flurry of worry around the country king and queen — both 51 — who have weathered numerous storms over the years.

Their rep insists the couple’s relationship is strong and healthy, but an insider dishes, “They’re at a crossroads in their marriage once again.”

The two are parents of Gracie, 21, Maggie, 20, and Audrey, 16, but raising a family while juggling high-flying careers hasn’t made for a smooth ride, say insiders.

Faith’s a control freak and Tim’s out of control partying has created friction, sources claim.

“Faith threatened to send Tim packing if he didn’t get rid of alcohol and drugs in his life,” a friend says.

“Tim didn’t want to lose his family, so he got sober, but there can always be a trigger that sends him spiraling back down again.”

Now that youngest daughter Audrey is a junior in high school, the two will soon be empty nesters, a pal adds.

“I think that’s been a big worry for Tim and

Faith,” the friend says.

“Besides that, the lines of communication between them get frayed, and it leads to fights.

“Soon it’s just going to be the two of them.”
