TINA’S TERRIBLE TORMENT!

Rock queen bares bashing by hubby Ike, losing a kidney & new fight for life

TINA TURNER is dishing all about her wild life — including a desperate suicide attempt, how first husband Ike Turner dragged her to a brothel on their wedding night and the time Mick Jagger tore her skirt off!

The Proud Mary singer, 78, makes the shocking revelations in her new memoir, My Love Story, in which she describes her hellish marriage to abusive Ike, who she wed in 1962 at age 22.

After the hot-tempered blues musician renamed Anna Mae Bullock “Tina” and recruited her for his band, he decided they’d elope to Tijuana, Mexico.

“There was no point in questioning his motives,” Tina recalls. “It would just make him mad, and that might lead to a beating.”

Though she knew their wedding “was supposed to be emotional and happy,” there was “none of that” — then the day got worse!

“Guess where we went? To a whorehouse. On my wedding night!” she reveals, saying she was near tears as Ike forced her to witness a “live, pornographic sex show.”

Though she and the brute had a string of successful hits, his physical and emotional abuse took a toll on Tina — and in 1968, she attempted suicide.

“I convinced myself death was my only way out,” she confesses, admitting she hoarded sleeping pills for the day “I decided I’d had enough.”

And after Ike cheated on her with TWO women in one night, she says, “I took the pills, all 50 of them.”

But after a friend noticed she was having trouble speaking, the star was rushed to a California hospital where her stomach was pumped!

Tina wouldn’t escape Ike’s clutches until 1978, when she finally divorced him — and was left nearly broke.

But when Tina called out her violent ex in the ’80s, Ike — who died from a cocaine overdose in 2007 at 76 — shockingly said, “Sure, I’ve slapped Tina. There have been times when I punched her to the ground without thinking. But I never beat her.”

Tina’s career comeback with 1984’s Private Dancer thrust her back into the spotlight. But there was no bigger stage than the following year’s Live Aid concert, which saw Rolling Stones rocker Jagger rip off Tina’s skirt during the show! “I felt him feeling around for where the snap was,” she says. “He pulled off my skirt with a flourish.”

Though Tina later found happiness with second husband Erwin Bach — she was struck by a crippling stroke three months after their 2013 wedding!

Sadly, the Grammy winner’s body continued to betray

her. In January 2016, she was “shocked” to be diagnosed with intestinal cancer — even as she struggled with failing kidneys.

Ready to give up, Tina says she joined Exit — an assisted suicide organization in her adopted home country, Switzerland — “just in case.”

She recounts Erwin, 62, said he’d do anything to keep them together — and gave her one of his kidneys!

But that gift came with a cost — the drugs used to keep her body from attacking the new organ have horrific side effects, which she says include “dizziness, forgetfulness, anxiety and the occasional bout of insane diarrhea.”

And sickly Tina experienced even more heartache this year when her 59-year-old son, Craig Turner, died from a selfinflicted gunshot wound on July 3.

“Tina has struggled for so long,” confides a pal. “It’s a miracle she’s still alive.”
