POP star Katy Perry has announced she’s taking a break from music — but pals fear she’s suffered a secret meltdown over playboy Orlando Bloom!
Sources say the I Kissed a Girl singer, 33, flipped out after seeing photos of onagain, off-again love Orlando, 41, getting flirty with beach babes in Malibu, Calif.
“Orlando may have been playing a game of cornhole with his buddies, but he was clearly checking out the hotties between tosses,” spills an insider.
“Katy believed what she and Orlando had was special, but this must have thrown her for a loop.
“It’s no secret she’s exhausted after churning out new music and living on the road for the last ten years, so she can’t be in the frame of mind to push Orlando’s behavior aside.”
Katy has opened up about her
struggles with mental health recently, confessing she fell into a “situational depression” when her latest album, Witness, flopped.
“I’ve done a lot of work lately … on my mental health,” she admitted.
Referring to Orlando, she added: “My boyfriend is a great anchor.”
But now pals worry the Lord of the Rings hunk’s latest antics could send Katy off the deep end.
“The word is Katy’s taking it as a betrayal, and she’s devastated. For someone who went through a deep depression after her last album tanked, this is the last thing she needs,” dishes the insider.
“Her friends are urging her to take time for herself and recharge to see if she can trust Orlando — or anyone — again.”
