PIZZA HERO EARNS HIS DO UGH!

Delivery guy saves gal beaten by savage fiend

-

APIZZA delivery driver turned into a hero when he saved a woman who’d been beaten bloody by her ex-boyfriend, according to Wisconsin police.

Dean Hoffman, 55, was arrested after the Domino’s driver noticed the woman mouthing the words

“Help me” as she cowered behind the bully who answered the door to get his pie.

“It’s kind of scary,” says driver Joey Grundl. “Gave him his pizza and noticed behind him was his girlfriend. She pointed to a black eye that was quite visible. She mouthed the words ‘Call police.’”

According to cops, Hoffman barged into the 57-year-old woman’s home around 1 p.m. on Sept. 27. As she picked up her phone to call police, Hoffman ripped it out of her hands, lawmen say. When Hoffman grabbed her by the waist and tried to drag her upstairs, the woman told investigators she hit him in the groin. He then punched her in the face, giving her a black eye and bloody nose.

Prosecutors say Hoffman eventually forced her onto her bed, tying her up with a vacuum cleaner power cord and shoving a towel in her mouth so “nobody would hear her.”

The woman told investigators she could barely breathe and feared she’d die.

Her captor’s decision to order Domino’s likely saved her life.

After noticing the woman, Grundl called 911 and told the operator: “I had a delivery. It was a middle-aged couple. The woman clearly had a black eye. She pointed to it, and I swear she mouthed, ‘Help me.’”

Hoffman, of Grafton, Wis., faces five felony charges including kidnapping, false imprisonment and strangulation, and a misdemeanor count of domestic abuse.
