BIZARRE BUT TRUE!

-

MODERN-day medieval knight Peter Barclay died in a freak accident during a Society for Creative Anachronism reenactment festival in Williamstown, Ky. The 52-year-old Virginia resident was riding his horse and tried to spear a paper plate on the ground when his lance flipped and plunged through his chest!

A FRONTIER Airlines flight from Orlando to Cleveland was delayed for two hours after a woman had to be forcibly removed from the plane for refusing to fly without her “emotional support squirrel!” Totally nuts!

OOPS! Curious twoyear-old Leo Belnap shredded an envelope containing $1,060 in cash while playing in his parents’ home office. Holladay, Utah, residents Ben and Jackee Belnap are blaming themselves — not their boy — for the accident. They taught the kid how to use the machine. But not all is lost. The feds have told the family they’ll replace the destroyed bills with new notes.

A BOOK checked out in 1934 has finally been returned to a Shreveport, La., library! A local resident found the book, Spoon River

Anthology, while cleaning his mother’s house. She’d checked it out as an 11-year-old and kept the classic for

84 years.
