ARNOLD MUSCLES INTO MOVIES!

AUSTRIAN bodybuilding champ ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER used his brawn to muscle his way to fame with a breakthrough performance in the 1982 swordand-sorcery epic Conan the Barbarian. Though the novice actor had to study for weeks with a coach to improve his heavily accented speech, his efforts paid off. The hit kicked off a string of blockbusters for the on-screen action hero, including his signature role in The Terminator. Arnold put acting on the back burner while serving as California’s governor from 2003 to 2011. But since the 71-year-old star’s return to Hollywood, he’s reportedly slated for an untitled Terminator reboot and The Legend of Conan, a sequel to the film that launched his career.
