Cross-dressing soldier murdered wife for threatening to expose secret life -cops
AKINKY Army corporal desperate to keep his cross-dressing secret strangled his wife before tooling around town with his mistress and her kids — while his slain spouse was stashed in the vehicle’s trunk, say cops.
Louisiana deputies arrested Cpl. Logan Kyle, 22, and 24-year-old galpal Sarah Parker last month after getting a call that her car contained a corpse.
The tipster turned out to be right, as police discovered 22-year-old Shelena Kyle’s body in the Taurus’ trunk!
Cops say Parker told them Kyle killed Shelena — and said he’d off her and her two toddlers if she didn’t help him ditch his wife’s remains!
Authorities charge Kyle — who’d been in the Army for four years and was stationed at Fort Polk — wigged out when
Shelena threatened to go to military brass and tell them he liked to dress in drag!
Investigators believe he panicked about being outed by his bride of two years — so he killed her in the bathroom of their on-base home to cover up his double life!
Pals claim Kyle, who likes to pretty himself up with makeup and feminine clothes, was even considering having a sex change once he left the military.
An insider says after he returned from a tour in Iraq in the spring, he spent hundreds of dollars on high-end cosmetics at a local boutique.
“They gave him a full makeup course, telling him what best suited his coloring,” dishes the snitch.
All glammed up, the insider says Kyle then went to dinner at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles “wearing a frilly blouse and ladies’ pants.”
Police believe Kyle and Parker were driving around looking for a place to dump Shelena’s body when they were apprehended near the alligator-infested Calcasieu River — and they don’t believe the moron mom’s claim that she was acting against her will.
“We have evidence to suggest she was not threatened,” says Sheriff Tony Mancuso.
Parker, who’s currently behind bars, faces at least 40 years in jail, and her children — a two-year-old boy and an 18-month-old girl — are now in their father’s care. Kyle is in military custody and could get locked away for life.
