SUICIDE FEARS FOR LOONY LOCKLEAR!

-

TROUBLED actress Heather Locklear’s latest mental breakdown has sparked new concerns she could end her life!

The 57-year-old former Melrose Place vixen was hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold on Nov. 18 after her therapist and lawyer realized she was in dire straits.

“Heather has been suicidal in the past and her struggle with addiction is no secret,” an insider tells GLOBE.

“It’s the last thing anyone wants, but people are terrified she could end up seriously harming herself.”

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a call for medical help and “not a criminal matter” was made from the former Dynasty star’s home.

The latest drama comes after Heather was arrested in February for biting her fiancé, Chris Heisser, and charged with attacking law enforcement officers and emergency responders.

Then in June, Heather was committed to a psychiatric ward after attacking her father, threatening to kill herself and attempting to strangle her mother. Insiders say Heather’s suggested she’d rather die than rot in a prison cell for her run-ins with the law.

She’s done multiple rehab stints for addictions to alcohol and prescription pills. But pals fear the treatment didn’t work — and that she could one day end up dead from an overdose or suicide.

“Given Heather’s history of erratic behavior and struggle with anxiety and depression, it makes sense that people are becoming really concerned about her,” dishes the insider.

“Heather has been in and out of rehab and the psych ward, but none of it seems to have stuck. She’s been in a dark place for a long time and the worry is that this downward spiral won’t end well.”
