DAN AYKROYD TRASHED AS WIFE-STEALING CHEAT!
Beauty queen’s ex still livid 24 years after ugly divorce
DAN AYKROYD stole my wife and ruined my life!” That’s the claim of angry husband Rick Hawkins who divorced his gorgeous wife, Lisa — a former Miss Virginia — after accusing her of cheating with the Ghostbusters star!
“I used to think Dan Aykroyd was really funny on Saturday Night Live and in The Blues Brothers. But what that lowlife did to me was anything but funny,” fumes Hawkins, 59. “He’s a home-wrecker!” Hawkins married Miss Virginia 1983, Lisa Aliff, in 1985 and says she soon hightailed it off to Hollywood where she landed gigs in commercials and on Cheers.
Then she got a part in Aykroyd’s 1987 cop movie, Dragnet.
“That was the beginning of the end,” says Hawkins — who claims the actor took Lisa on a romantic trip from Los Angeles to Canada in a camper in 1987 and bought her a Mitsubishi truck.
In court papers filed in January 1994, Hawkins says Lisa admitted to him and others “that she had committed adultery with Dan Aykroyd.”
The Trading Places star — who’s been married to actress Donna Dixon, who’s also a former Miss Virginia, since 1983 — called Hawkins’ adultery charge a “flat lie,” adding: “This is a baseless fantasy.”
But Hawkins claims Lisa told him the illicit lovebirds planned to tie the knot!
“Lisa said she and Dan loved each other and he planned to leave his wife, Donna, so they could be together,” he says.
Although Lisa later denied the affair, Hawkins won custody of their son, Langley, who’s now 27 and a SWAT team member in Virginia.
The couple divorced in 1998 and Lisa remarried. Today, nearly 25 years later, Hawkins still insists Aykroyd helped wreck his marriage.
“Dan Aykroyd messed up my life!” he tells GLOBE.
“I lost everything! Everything I had, except my son!”
Hawkins adds: “If Dan Aykroyd was in front of me now I’d beat him up! It’s been hell!”
