Convict convinced he was railroaded by guy with grudge
BROODING Bill Cosby has hired a legal hit team to take down the judge who put him behind bars — and overturn a “corrupt” sex assault conviction!
According to Cosby camp snitches, the 81-year-old felon is ordering lawyers to dig up legal dirt on Judge Steven T. O’Neill in a desperate attempt to prove the jurist rigged the disgraced star’s trial!
“Cosby feels 1,000 percent sure the judge was out to get him,” dishes an insider.
In September, O’Neill sentenced Cosby to three to ten years for sexually assaulting Temple University basketball executive Andrea Constand in 2004. He’s stewing behind bars at a Pennsylvania maximum security prison — convinced O’Neill made him stand trial to embarrass his legal rival, former D.A. Bruce Castor, who agreed not to prosecute Cosby in 2004.
Now, Camille Cosby — the sex predator’s long-suffering wife — has hired an ex-FBI agent to investigate O’Neill and even filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board! Calling O’Neill “arrogant” and “corrupt,” Camille charged the “judge must be held accountable for his unethical behavior.”
On Dec. 14, Cosby’s lawyers’ sought to nix his guilty verdict, arguing O’Neill made 11 legal “errors,” including allowing a damning civil deposition, where the star admitted to drugging women with Quaaludes before sex, into evidence at his criminal trial!
But Cosby will remain under lock and key during his appeal. The court rejected his attorneys’ request for bail while the case is being argued!
