Running out of shingles vaccine!

SHINGLES sufferers who’ve put off getting the two-shot Shingrix vaccine could be out of luck. Bigwigs at the Centers for Disease Control say there’s a nationwide shortage of the Medicarecovered shots that could last all of this year.

The problem is, the ultra-effective vaccine, which beats the painful burning rash, takes six to nine months to make. Drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline says it still has not caught up to the “unprecedented demand” for the shots.
