Prosecutors probing Florida trophy hunter
ABLOODTHIRSTY blond big game hunter from Florida is facing criminal charges in Scotland after posting pictures of herself with a gigantic goat she gunned down on the island of Islay!
Larysa Switlyk, 33, is under investigation for violating the 1968 Firearms Act, which regulates the use of borrowed weapons, after boasting on the internet her party bagged the wild critter during an October expedition with a “perfect 200 yard shot.”
Furious locals immediately slammed the world-renowned trophy hunter from Sarasota, who hosts the TV series Larysa Unleashed.
Scottish cabinet minister Mike Russell called her photos “horrific,” and other government officials pledged to change the laws on culling the goat population — after the gun moll used existing policies to justify her actions.
Larysa also sparked controversy after she was pictured next to a sheep she’d killed in Norfolk, England — holding up a blood-covered sex toy!
In one social media picture, a camo-clad Larysa knelt beside the corpse of a goat while another shot saw her posing “in sniper mode,” lying in long grass and pointing a gun into the distance.
She’s also hunted stags and wrote in one photo caption: “In awe of my Scottish Stag — can’t wait to bring it back to the castle for the chefs to cook it up!”
On her website, Larysa describes herself as “a mixture of a tomboy and model.”
She also says her TV show aims to “enlighten and educate the general population about why people hunt and fish, the importance of conservation, cultural experiences, and the rules and regulations behind it.”
But the backlash from her boastful social media postings was immediate.
Scottish tennis coach Judy Murray, mother of tennis star Andy Murray, blasted: “A unique hunt? Disgraceful. It’s a goat. And it’s in Scotland. On a beautiful island. Stop this please.”
Nicky Campbell wrote on Twitter: “Please don’t take this the wrong way but you are a twisted sicko.”
However, Larysa isn’t running for cover. She recently released a T-shirt featuring a mountain goat — and the slogan: “Don’t let me get your goat.”
