LEGAL MONKEY ON CHRIS’ BACK

AFTER beating then-galpal Rihanna bloody and brawling with rap rivals, jailbird Chris Brown is in trouble again — for going ape.

California officials charged the singer with failing to obtain an exotic animal permit for Fiji, the baby capuchin monkey he got his four-year-old daughter, Royalty.

After the singer posted a video of Royalty playing with the monkey, posters complained to officials the pet was dangerous, which Brown denies.

Now, the hot-tempered singer faces up to six months in the slammer over the charge.

He’s due in court Feb. 6.
