KATHY GRIFFIN DEMENTIA AGONY

-

Comic KATHY

GRIFFIN isn’t laughing about what dementia’s done to her 98-year-old mom, MAGGIE. The funnygal says her mother was “sharp” as a tack last September, but since then, her mind has been ravaged by the brain-savaging condition. Maggie’s fading memory is robbing her of the ability to care for herself. “She only knows my name and ‘I love you,’ ” notes a devastated Kathy. “I know this is a reality that millions of people deal with every year. But when it comes to my mom this is particularly hard because her sharp mind was everything.”
