WHY, WHY, WHY, DID TOM JONES’ WIFE DIE?

CHEATING crooner Tom Jones is haunted by guilt over the death of longtime wife Melinda.

The 75-yearold mom of his son Mark, 61, passed away from lung cancer in April 2016.

Now Tom, 78, who admits bedding oodles of gals during his 59-year marriage to Melinda, says he “should have forced her to go to the doctors” sooner.

“After I lost my wife, lyrics to a Bob Dylan song reminded me of her,” he reveals. “It’s called What Good Am I?

“I was reading into the lyrics thinking, ‘Jesus

Christ, was I partly to blame? Should I have woken up before?’ By the time we found out about her cancer it was too late. I thought, ‘What could I have done?’ ”

Despite his womanizing, he says Melinda’s death was “devastating.”
