HAUNTED Y&R STAR DRANK HIMSELF INTO THE GRAVE!

Kristoff St. John never recovered from son’s suicide

-

SHORTLY before drinking himself to death, tragic soap star Kristoff St. John confessed the only way he would get over the devastating suicide of his son four years ago was to “join” him on the other side!

The heartbroken 52-year-old, who played Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless for three decades, was found dead of alcohol poisoning in his Woodland Hills, Calif., home on Feb. 3, lawmen say.

His model-fiancée, Kseniya Mikhaleva,

25, who was back in Moscow studying for a business degree, says he sounded “sad” when she spoke with him the day before his death.

His first wife, boxer Mia St. John, noted he may have drunk himself to death on purpose, saying the 2014 suicide of their 24-year-old son, Julian, had pushed Kristoff “to the breaking point.”

He recently retweeted someone’s quote that “grieving the loss of a child … ends the day the parent joins them” — adding, “Never a truer word was spoke.”

Kristoff was so deep in despair he threatened to kill himself on the 2017 anniversary of Julian’s suicide, was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold and took a leave of absence from work for therapy.

Mia says Julian’s death “tore his soul apart.” Julian, a schizophrenic, was found dead in a bathroom of a Long Beach mental health facility, where he was battling his lifelong depression.

Kristoff and Mia, who also have a daughter, Paris, 26, sued the hospital, saying the facility negligently allowed Julian to suffocate himself. They later settled.

Burying a child “is a nightmare that haunts you forever,” says Mia.
