The 77-year-old’s book — which has been in the works for three years — is expected to hit the shelves in 2022 — and sources say she’ll spill on the woman-on-woman love she witnessed while serving time for lying to the feds about a stock sale.
Martha has revealed she was “hit on” by “girls that looked like boys,” while in West Virginia’s Alderson
Federal Prison Camp.
Although she never gave in to gay advances, Martha recalls: “There were girls with mustaches and there were girls with beards. They would ask you to lunch, a lunch date.”
As for serving time, she says: “It was horrifying, and no one — no one — should have to go through that kind of indignity.” “My boyfriend picked me up in his plane … he took me home. It was nice. He jumped me!” she confesses.
Years earlier, Martha went through an ugly divorce from husband Andy Stewart, who hinted at marital problems in 1980 — ten years before they called it quits!
“Martha is not tolerant of my negligence or my foolishness or my eccentricities,” Andy said.
A former business partner adds: “Andy loved Martha deeply, but he was always being belittled or berated by her.”
Their breakup turned nasty when Andy reportedly obtained a court order forbidding Martha to speak to him. Adding insult to injury, Andy later married Martha’s former assistant Robyn Fairclough, 21 years his junior.
Martha moved on from the heartbreak by dating a string of boytoys — and she’s expected to dish on her oddball romance with pothead TV co-star Snoop Dogg!
The two launched a cooking show, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, in 2016 — and Martha has been acting like a “lovestruck schoolgirl” around the 47-year-old Gin and Juice rapper.
“She says she’s never felt more free from the ties of her uppity image,” says an insider, and that means getting “totally high” with Snoop — and even though the father of four is happily married, Martha is “crushing on him” big-time!
Adds an insider: “Martha’s book is sure to be a best seller. It’ll be the juiciest celebrity tell-all in a long time!”
