BIZARRE REASON DANNY & RHEA WON’T DIVORCE

-

IT’S Hollywood’s weirdest marriage! Danny DeVito and Cheers star Rhea Perlman haven’t lived together in years — but divorce isn’t on the table!

Sources tell GLOBE Rhea has given up on the runty Romeo over his playboy ways, but after 37 years of marriage, the two don’t want a knockdown, drag-out fight over their $130 million fortune!

“Rhea realized Danny was never going to change and she seems to accept him for who he is — a little man with a big wandering eye,” a snitch tells GLOBE.

“She divides her time between their house in Beverly Hills and her own apartment in New York, while Danny crashes at their Malibu beach pad when he’s in town for

work or between films.

“They’re getting along better living under separate roofs. They have three kids, so they’ll always be family. Their friends think it’s a bizarre arrangement. But ask Danny and Rhea and their attitude is: If it isn’t broke, why fix it?”

Danny, 74, and Rhea, 71, first separated in 2012, but reconciled a year later, only to separate again in 2017.

As GLOBE reported, the final straw came when Rhea kicked the four-foot-ten, squirt to the curb after he ditched his wedding ring for a wild night of partying in London.

“Rhea’s put up with Danny’s carousing long enough. She gave him the boot twice, but he’s still got a foot in the door,” dishes the insider.

“Danny’s invited over for family get-togethers, but then he says goodnight and leaves with a smile. It’s an arrangement that suits them both.”

The couple’s three adult kids — Lucy, 36, Grace, 34, and Jake, 31 — have all followed their parents into show business.

And Danny, now starring in Dumbo, insists he’s still close to Rhea.

“Let’s put it this way, we’re really, really good friends, and we see each other a lot,” says the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stud.

Rhea chimes in: “We’ve been together a very long time, so there’s a lot of love and history. We agree on enough things, so why ruin that with the yucky things that come with a divorce?”
