TV queen relapses as hubby is accused of fathering love child
BUG-EYED train-wreck Wendy Williams is on the brink of a complete mental collapse, insiders fear.
Rocked by chatter her hubby, Kevin Hunter, fathered a baby with another woman, the talk show diva was hospitalized when she was found wandering some of New York City’s streets after a drinking binge. But the recovering addict — who was photographed without her wedding ring just days before the relapse — refuses to end her marriage!
Now the latest crisis “could kill her TV show and destroy Wendy mentally,” a source tells GLOBE.
“The big problem is Wendy doesn’t have friends or a team to support her. Everyone in her life has been cut out by Kevin.”
Hunter — who insists he’s been faithful to his wife — was said to be at the side of Sharina Hudson when she gave birth to a baby girl on March 22. Sources claim Hudson has been Hunter’s mistress for about ten years — but he insists that’s bull.
However, his wife admits she confronted Hunter about the cheating buzz.
Adding to Wendy’s agony, the TV queen admits to suffering two miscarriages — both during her second trimester — before having a son with Kevin.
Another woman having “the child that she was unable to have with her husband” would be a devastating psychological blow, relationship expert Dr. Gilda Carle tells GLOBE.
Salt in the wound
“It would be another trigger that reminds Wendy of her failure as a woman. This is a difficult situation for her because the wound keeps getting salt thrown into it.”
Wendy’s booze binge is another sign of the troubled star’s mental instability, says Carle, who had not treated the TV talk show host.
Williams was desperately struggling to maintain her sobriety while showing the world her marriage was solid, insiders say.
Despite leaving her New York City sober-living home without her wedding ring, the 54-year-old chatterbox was seen wearing the band while shooting The Wendy Williams Show — as fans beg her to ditch her no-good spouse! Weepy Wendy, an admitted cocaine addict, confessed on her March 19 episode she was again battling a drug habit and living in the halfway house with a 24-hour “sober coach” at her side.
As GLOBE reported, Wendy’s health plummeted after shocking rumors Kevin, 46, lived a double life with 34-year-old masseuse Sharina — and supported her with his hard-working wife’s money.
Wendy — who also battles the autoimmune disorder Graves’ disease — suddenly took a leave of absence in late December after fracturing her shoulder in a suspicious tumble and slurring her words on-air. Since her return to TV, the diva ignited a vicious feud with Howard Stern by accusing the shock jock of “going Hollywood.” The selfproclaimed King of All Media responded by trashing her talent and saying “worry about your husband, not me.”
Now people around her say Williams “is not in a good place.”
Dr. Carle adds: “This is going from bad to worse. Wendy has to change all of her behaviors. She’s in a shaky situation — and that means anything can happen with her mental state!”
