Michigan family terrorized by gruesome ghoul
TERRIFIED parents Heather Brough and Josh Higgins are looking for a new home after a nasty ghost attacked their baby daughter, Lily, viciously scratching the one-year-old’s face!
Incredibly, expert ghost hunters confirmed the family’s Highland, Mich., house is haunted, and a baby cam caught a “ghostly male” gliding past her crib and vanishing.
Now, Heather, 25, and fiancé Josh, 30, are looking for a new place, claiming they’re being driven off by the gruesome ghost of the former tenant’s crazy brother.
“Seeing Lily’s face with the scratches was so bizarre and frightening,” says the spooked mom. “There was no explanation as to how that would have happened.”
Heather believes she was also attacked, saying: “I woke up to get ready for work one morning and it felt like someone was
choking me. It shook me.
“This is a spirit. I don’t know what its intentions are, but at this point, it’s becoming physically harmful. As soon as possible, we’re out of here.”
The terrifying assault on Lily in a guest house where the couple live left the tyke with three ugly “purple” welts on her cheek, says Heather, who discovered the wounds when she went to wake the baby from a nap.
“We wondered if she’d scratched herself, but when we put her hands up to the scratches, it did not match up,” she says. “They were deep — like blue-purple scratches. There’s no way she could do that to herself.”
They checked the baby cam to find out what happened — and spotted the eerie spirit.
Heather now believes the scratches were left by the ghost of the previous resident of the cottage behind a main house now owned by Josh’s mother.
The main house once belonged to a crippled elderly woman with a broken hip, who was eventually found dead in the home. Her schizophrenic brother lived in the guest house, where he remained until dying years later.
But the attacks on the baby aren’t the only strange things going on in the guest cottage. Heather says she’s heard screaming, stomping, laughing and “an angry male voice” yelling. Experts investigated and found “paranormal activity” in the house.
Now, Heather’s desperate to move. But until then, she says she and her fiancé “don’t leave the baby alone.”
