Glamour gal bagged as bank bandit
TEEN hottie Brianna Casias got all dolled up like a Hollywood glamour gal with makeup, sunglasses and large fashionable hats, but not to shoot a movie — her gig was robbing banks, lawmen charge!
The 19-year-old, dubbed the “Glamour Shot Bandit” for her fashionable disguises, hit eight banks in just two weeks, successfully robbing six and making off with a total haul of $16,861, police say.
She was busted by the FBI and Denver cops on May 10 and tossed in the clink, charged with aggravated robbery, five
counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, along with menacing, theft and tampering with evidence.
Although security cameras caught her on tape, the sexy stickup artist hid her good looks behind disguises, investigators say.
Always wearing white latex gloves to prevent leaving guises included a blond wig, a black-and-white striped scarf, a sun hat, large sunglasses and a choker to cover a neck tattoo, lawmen charge.
The crafty crook never spoke to tellers, but instead handed them a note demanding 20, 50 and 100 dollar bills, and only pulled a gun during one stickup, say cops.
For six of the holdups, the fashionable robber used two stolen getaway cars — driven by a male accomplice who hadn’t been caught yet, say cops.
Sources say police finally zeroed in on her from tips called in to Crime Stoppers, and Aurora officers nabbed her at an intersection.
Casias had only one other bust on her record — for assaulting a Lone Tree police officer in December, say cops. She was set for a hearing in January, but was a no-show despite the felony charges being reduced to misdemeanors.
