NEWLY released secret FBI files accused civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. of being a “depraved” serial cheater who bedded at least 40 women while neglecting his wife Coretta!
But the damning dossier has to be taken with a grain of salt! FBI boss J. Edgar Hoover detested King — and his field agents frequently fed him information and gossip that justified his social views.
As a result, Hoover bugged the Nobel Peace Prize winner, believing King’s secret flings could open him to blackmail by Communists.
The FBI files claim King had a threesome with two women in his Sands hotel room in Las Vegas in 1964 and then had a male friend join the gals while he “watched the action.”
The hooker told agents King “scared” her, his language was “filthy” and described the orgy as “the worst ... I’ve ever gone through.”
A shocking 1964 memo from Hoover’s assistant William Sullivan notes King joked to pals that he’d founded the “International Association for the Advancement of P **** -Eaters.”
Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David Garrow also says the FBI bugged two lamps in King’s Willard hotel rooms in Washington. Those devices caught the preacher and a dozen others “in a sex orgy” that included “unnatural acts of degeneracy and depravity,” says Garrow.
Hoover’s agents then threatened to expose the civil rights leader by sending him a tape and a letter branding him “an evil abnormal beast.”
The letter advised King, who was assassinated at age 39 in April 1968, to commit suicide “before your filthy, abnormal, fraudulent self is bared to the nation.”
The files also claim King fathered a daughter with a lover who lived in Los Angeles, and paid child support.
According to the government documents, agents reported King was so busy cheating, his wife Coretta complained he “was not fulfilling his marital responsibilities” — so he told her to “have some affairs of her own.” However, there is no evidence any of the scandals in the FBI files ever happened.
