TRISHA YEARWOOD PACKS ON 43 LBS.!

Fears country queen is killing herself with food

YO-YO dieter and singing chef Trisha Yearwood has ballooned again — gaining a staggering 43 pounds — leaving friends fearing for her health as a doctor warns her rollercoasting weight puts her at risk for killer diseases.

The 54-year-old wife of country kingpin Garth Brooks — who’s launched a second career with her cookbooks and Southern cooking show on TV’s Food Network — has now increased her weight to nearly 200 pounds, worried pals say.

“Trisha is five-foot-eight and big-boned, so around 155 is her ideal weight,” a friend reveals.

“But she’s yo-yoed up and down over the years, and now she’s at her heaviest.”

The friend notes Yearwood’s weight struggles began in 2011 when she lost her beloved mother, Gwen, and “used food as a coping mechanism for her grief and put on 50 pounds. Doctors said her health was in danger, and she got serious about shedding the fat.”

She got back down by 2013 and stayed there by working hard as hubby Garth’s warmup act for his 390-concert world tour.

But the tour ended in 2017 — and Trish has since ballooned again.

A medical expert says her past yo-yo dieting sets her up for deadly “diabetes and heart attacks.”

Meanwhile, The Park Avenue Diet author Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated Trisha, observes: “Obesity shortens life by 3 to 7 percent.”

But living with Garth, who also has weight issues, makes keeping slim tough, insiders dish.

“Garth would whip up his famous breakfast bowl for Trish — with eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, hash browns and tortellini,” says the friend.

“Big meals are really a mainstay in their marriage.”
