His temper flares as wife publicly disrespects queen & national anthem
PRINCE HARRY shockingly scolded his spoiled American-born wife, Meghan, in public — just as the vengeful couple has assembled a team of spin doctors to steal the limelight away from his estranged brother, William, and sister-in-law Kate.
The stunning reprimand came as Harry, 34, and the 37-year-old diva duchess stood on a Buckingham Palace balcony with the rest of the royals viewing the Trooping the Colour pageant celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s 93rd birthday.
Antsy Meghan squirmed twice and looked at Harry when she was supposed to be facing the crowd — and standing at attention — as Britain’s national anthem played.
The second time, the raging redhead snapped at his wife: “Turn around, now!” according to an expert lip-reader who reviewed footage of the confrontation.
“The shocking rebuke is more ammunition for critics and Harry’s stepmother, Camilla, who charges Meghan is a ‘tasteless commoner’ and has no idea how to conduct herself as a refined royal,” a palace insider tells GLOBE.
Amid her ghastly fumbles, Meghan and Harry have recruited PR experts — including Hillary Clinton’s former media consultant Sara Latham
and a social media specialist — to boost their popularity, which has taken a hit over Meghan’s high-handed ways.
“They have appointed a new member of staff to work on their social media accounts,” a royal source reveals.
While the palace officially tries to pooh-pooh any talk of bad blood between the royal brothers, Harry and Meghan boast they’ve already drawn a staggering 8.7 million followers to their Instagram account since launching it in April — just 600,000 less than William and Kate, who began theirs in 2015.
In May, competitive Harry and Meghan posted unseen photos of their wedding on social media — the same day Kate released her garden
design at the Chelsea Flower Show. Then days after they introduced their newborn son, Archie, to the world, Kate shared some family snapshots.
The online rivalry only aggravates the widening rift between the couples.
In a clear slap in the face,
last month Meghan and Harry withdrew from The Royal Foundation — founded by the brothers in 2009. But William and Kate are shedding no tears.
“Kate is already fed up with Meghan’s snooty airs,” notes the insider.
“But having been an actress, Meghan is media savvy and knows how the spin machine works from her Hollywood days.
“She’s got Harry onboard and they’re going all-out to steal the thunder away from William and Kate.”
