IT’S HIGH TIME! MURDER CHARGE IN CELEB’S DRUG OVERDOSE DEATH

-

IT’S happened at last! Hard to believe but someone has been busted for supplying the poisonous pills that killed a celebrity.

In this case, purported pusher Cameron James Pettit has been accused of providing rapper Mac Miller with the deadly fentanyllaced brew that led to his September 2018 death.

And WE say it’s about time!

In just three years, Miller, Tom Petty and Prince have OD’d and died from this ferocious killer.

Of course, the list of celebs who’ve passed away from drugs either supplied by dealers or greedy doctors goes all the way back to Elvis Presley and beyond.

But it’s very rare that the money-grubbing lowlifes who leach off the stars’ addictions are brought to justice.

It’s something we’ve covered time and again — in many past GLOBE articles, crime experts have urged lawmen to bust the scum who supplied the victims with their deadly doses.

But it rarely happens.

Many thought the docs who overprescribed Elvis thousands of pills before his death should have been jailed. Same for the scumbags who scored mountains of cocaine for Whitney Houston.

One of the few cases of justice came when the medical miscreant who negligently fed Michael Jackson a killer dose of an anesthetic lost his license and was tossed in the slammer for two years.

But there’s a glimmer of hope — finally, federal prosecutors in California are going after the greedy creeps who sell celebs and others the drugs that end up killing them.

On Sept. 4, Pettit, 28, was arrested and held without bail for giving Miller illegal oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl.

A former beau of pop princess Ariana Grande, 26-year-old Dang! singer Miller was found dead in his Studio City home from an overdose that also included cocaine and booze.

The feds accuse Pettit of giving Miller “percs” — fake Percocet pills loaded with oxycodone and fentanyl.

We don’t know yet if Pettit is guilty, but greedy dealers like him, who suck people and stars into getting hooked and using dangerous drugs, are the dregs of Earth.

And these pieces of trash merit more than life in prison — they deserve to burn in hell forever and ever.
