RECLUSE DORIS DAY PUT IN UNMARKED GRAVE!

-

AMERICA’S sweetheart Doris Day left a shocking mystery after her tragic death on May 13: the location of her final resting place.

That’s because the 97-yearold Pillow Talk star left orders in her will that she should have no funeral, no memorial and no grave marker!

“She became a virtual recluse after she quit Hollywood, and it seems she wanted to stay secluded in death, too,” says a source.

“Was she cremated and her ashes scattered? Or was she buried in an unmarked grave, continuing to hide from the world? We may never know.”

The silver screen legend and activist, who founded the Doris Day Animal Foundation, passed away from pneumonia at her Carmel Valley, Calif.,

golf course home.

She often mocked her squeakyclean image.

“I have the unfortunate reputation of being Miss

Goody Two-shoes, the girlnext-door, carefree and brimming with happiness — an image, I can assure you, more make-believe than any film part I ever played,” she said.

In fact, four-times married but unlucky-in-love Doris was reported to be an incessant bed-hopper who had hot flings with co-stars, hooked up with Ronald Reagan and stole Joan Crawford’s boyfriend Steve Cochran!

And she was into athletes, too: Los Angeles Dodger Maury Wills and New York Yankees slugger Mickey Mantle claimed to have had torrid affairs with her!

But in an effort to preserve her America’s sweetheart image, the Que Sera, Sera singer refused to confirm her affairs — and took her Secret Loves to her secret grave.
