WHOOPI VS MEGHAN: FEUD EXPLODES AGAIN!

THE fiery feud between Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain on The View has exploded into all-out war — and show honchos worry the gals may end up duking it out!
“The producers are at their wits’ end trying to calm the situation down,” spills an insider. “They’re afraid Whoopi and Meghan will start slapping each other senseless!”
The bitter bickering recently hit a boiling point when Whoopi, 64, told Meghan, 35, to “stop talking” during a heated exchange about President Trump’s impeachment situation on the Dec. 16 episode.
Whoopi was trying to comment and was infuriated when the daughter of the late Sen. John McCain barged in to promote her conservative views.
Finally, the Sister Act star fired a broadside at Meghan: “Girl, please stop talking,” she said. “Please stop talking RIGHT NOW!”
“No problem,” Meghan spat back. “I won’t talk for the rest of this show.”
At which point, a weary Whoopi tossed in an “I’m OK with that.”
What really ticks off the leftie co-host, dishes a spywitness, is that a couple of months ago, “she lectured Meghan about interrupting and of course Meghan had to interrupt! That’s how ridiculous it’s gotten.”
The clashes are even worse once the cameras stop rolling, says the source.
“It’s gotten more ferocious. They have different views on politics, and that continues off
camera. But lately their feud has gotten nastier,” notes the insider.
“It’s become more agitated. It started with disagreements on political topics, but now it’s evolved into serious conflict.”
Adds the snitch: “Whoopi is beginning to lose her cool and lash out at Meghan, who won’t be bullied into a corner. They’re fighting to see who will be top dog.
“You can hear the studio audience gasping.”
Meghan is also whining, telling producers Whoopi is trying to prevent her from being heard, says the source.
“She calls Whoopi a liberal who doesn’t see the big picture. Meanwhile, Whoopi thinks Meghan is a spoiled, narrow-minded brat!”
And there’s collateral damage from the women’s war of words, reports the insider.
“It’s difficult for the other ladies to concentrate or get a word in when Whoopi and Meghan keep engaging in verbal fisticuffs.”
