ELLEN BULLIES BLAKE TO NAME A DATE!
ELLEN DEGENERES is putting a heaping new pile of pressure on country loverboy Blake Shelton to pop the question to galpal Gwen Stefani!
The talk star teased Blake, 43, about dragging his feet with Gwen, 50, who he hooked up with four years ago when they were judges on The Voice, telling him “the clock is ticking.”
Then she shocked the six-foot-five Hell Right crooner by inviting him to guest-host her show, adding: “You could have Gwen on. You could have anybody on. You could propose to her here!”
Her saucy suggestion triggered huge applause from the studio audience.
Ellen has been pestering the hunk to tie the knot with Gwen and previously gave him a clock to illustrate that time was running out.
When Ellen asked why he hadn’t kept the clock, he said her staff took it back.
“You’re right,” Ellen noted. “We [gave it] to Jennifer Lopez, and now she’s engaged” to ex Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez! Sources say Blake isn’t really dragging his feet and has been talking marriage with Gwen.
The sticking point is she’s Roman Catholic and wants to have her first marriage, to musician Gavin Rossdale — dad of sons Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5 — officially annulled by the pope.
