42, who has been hit with a rare autoimmune disorder that means he can’t hold his kids! “J.P. was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome,” reveals wife ASHLEY HEBERT. “It may be a long road to full recovery,” adds Ashley, 34. “Things you do every day — like picking up the phone or buttoning buttons, tying shoelaces, putting on deodorant — you just can’t do it.” J.P., who fell in love with Ashley during season 7, also posted about his condition. “Picking up my kids, can’t do it. Wiping your ass, maybe TMI, but might have Ashley assist on the next one. Can’t really believe it,” he writes. The stunned couple have two young kids.
