GUTSY Nicole Kidman proved the showbiz adage “the show must go on” by continuing to promote her new flick Bombshell while in agony and hours before undergoing painful root canal surgery.
The 52-year-old actress is being hailed as a real trouper for putting up with excruciating pain during the tour for the movie about the gals who exploded the sexual harassment scandal at FOX News.
“She was working almost up to the surgery,” notes an insider. “She had to fit in a procedure with her crazy schedule. She literally had a journalist at her house just two hours before.”
After the interview, she
“was in tears,” the insider adds.
Nicole’s cool and calm outward appearance, while in pain, showed what a terrific actress she is, says the source.
She was often “stressed to tears,” says the insider, adding: “Putting on a brave face was all too much.”
