EASTWOOD MOVIE IS BIG BOMB!

-

A HEAPING helping of publicity couldn’t save movie icon Clint Eastwood’s explosive flick about Atlanta Olympics bombing hero Richard Jewell from bombing at the box office!

The film, about the security guard wrongly accused of the blast at the

1996 games, dribbled in just $5 million its opening weekend compared to his $89 million for 2014’s American Sniper and $35 million for 2016’s Sully.

Only Clint’s 1980 rodeo-cowboy film, Bronco Billy, had a sadder payday, with $3.7 million.
